1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the rules applicable to the use of the virtual server (VPS/VDS), dedicated server and related services ("Services") provided by VECDC CLOUD AND CONSULTANCY LIMITED ("VECDC"). This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service and is binding on all customers.
By ordering or using VECDC Services, you represent that you have read, understood and accepted this Policy.
2. Strictly Prohibited Uses
Using, providing, hosting or facilitating VECDC infrastructure for any of the following activities is strictly prohibited:
- Spam / Unsolicited Bulk Email: Sending bulk commercial email without the recipient's prior explicit consent, operating a spam relay or open proxy, or harvesting email addresses.
- Phishing: Hosting fake sites, forms or emails impersonating a real organization or individual in order to obtain usernames, passwords, credit card details or other financial/personal data.
- Malware: Developing, distributing, hosting or controlling viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware or similar malicious software.
- Botnet Command & Control (C2): Operating a botnet command-and-control server or otherwise being used as part of any botnet infrastructure.
- DDoS Attacks: Launching a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, participating in such attacks, or hosting or operating booter/stresser tools used for such attacks.
- Unauthorized Access Attempts: Port scanning, credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, SQL injection, or other attempts at unauthorized access to systems or networks.
- IP Spoofing: Concealing or falsifying the source IP address, or misrepresenting the origin of traffic.
- Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement: Distributing or hosting unlicensed software, pirated content, or material infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
- Illegal Content: Any content unlawful under the laws of England and Wales, the applicable legislation of the country where the service is hosted (e.g. Türkiye, Germany), applicable international law, or applicable international sanctions/embargo regulations (child sexual abuse material, terrorist propaganda, illegal gambling, etc.).
- Resource Abuse: Excessive or abusive use of shared infrastructure resources (CPU, RAM, network bandwidth) in a manner that adversely affects the service quality of other customers.
3. Monitoring and Enforcement
VECDC reserves the right to monitor whether the Services are used in compliance with this Policy and to investigate in the event of suspected violations.
- Upon detection of a violation, VECDC may suspend the relevant Service, remove the offending content, or terminate the Agreement without prior notice (see the "Suspension and Termination" provision of the Terms of Service).
- Where suspected unlawful activity is detected, VECDC cooperates with competent judicial/administrative authorities and may share information as required by law.
- In the case of repeated or serious violations, the Service may be permanently terminated without any refund.
4. Changes to this Policy
VECDC reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to this Policy. The current text takes effect from the moment it is published on this page. Continued use of the Services means you accept the current Policy.
